Study Peace! Build Peace! Research Peace! (Virtual)

Join students and others from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and the Undergraduate Program in Peace Studies to learn more about peace studies.

Peace studies is an interdisciplinary academic field that advances your knowledge about the nature and causes of violence, oppression, and inequality and builds your capacity to transform conflict and develop constructive personal, group, and political relationships across ethnic, religious, class, national, and racial boundaries.

The Undergraduate Program in Peace Studies offers you the chance to explore these topics in the classroom and learn from faculty who are leading scholars and practitioners of peacebuilding. It also provides you with learning experiences outside of the classroom, such as an intercultural immersion, a student-led peace conference, and the potential for funded research.

In this virtual conversation, current peace studies students will describe their experiences in the program, talk about the importance of peacebuilding to their academic and career goals, and answer your questions about how to study peace, build peace, and research peace as a Notre Dame student.

Free Kroc Institute swag will be distributed later to those who attend. Click here to join virtually!
