St. André Bessette Committee

The St. André Committee, within each residence hall, assists in the development and facilitation of welcome programs for entering first year and transfer students to the University. Student leaders serving on these committees support Hall Staff in creating an inclusive campus community for all new students where they are known by name and by story. The St. André Committee seeks to welcome new students during move-in and Welcome Week and accompany new students through their first year at the University.

St. André is the namesake of this leadership opportunity as we seek to offer the same sense of hospitality to new students and their families and guests. Furthermore, we seek to meet the needs of our new students by accompanying them throughout their first year at the University.
